Projects

Management of used horticultural pots: a study was conducted and recommends the development of technical standards to help nurserymen organize the management of their used plastics on an individual or on a collective basis. An additional study was initiated by the VALHOR association, which represents the Horticulture’s Profession.

Animal hygiene products: a collection and recycling program for empty packaging of animal hygiene products (detergents, disinfectants, water treatment etc.), in particular for the poultry and pig sectors, is being set-up. A working group was put in place in 2019 in order to carry out a precise state of play (types of waste, quantities, current management and needs).

During the last Paris International Agricultural Show, on the stand of « La Coopération Agricole » (federation of French cooperatives), livestock and agri-supplies players signed a declaration of intent with A.D.I.VALOR for the collection and recycling of plastic packaging from livestock hygiene products. Collections are planned to start from spring 2021. Pilot collections will be launched in 2020.

More locally, the management of empty potatoes seeds packaging (« EVPT ») and empty beetroot seeds packaging are under development.
