41% of bale twine and net wrapping collected

This program started in 2013. It is led by the French Committee for Plastics in Agriculture (CPA) and A.D.I.VALOR, within the APE (Agriculture Plastics Environment) initiative. 

More than 10 000 tons were collected in 2019 with an increase of 600 tons over the year; the collection rate increased by 2 points to reach 41%. 

100 % of the twine collected is recycled: the plastics resulting from the regeneration process are used for the manufacture of mechanical pieces such as pipe fittings or pieces for the building and automotive industry. 

A.D.I.VALOR and the CPA are supporting several projects to develop net recycling processes which do not yet exist.
