With the ECO-EPI initiative, farmers, distributors and specialized suppliers gathered to organize the collection and disposal of chemical personal protective equipment (PPE) used in agriculture. 

The eco-levy on PPE sales has been effective since 1st January 2016; the first collection started in April 2016.

These specialized suppliers now contribute to finance the management of the end-of-life of the chemical personal protective equipment they have marketed.
