Scheme’s presentation

Who does what?

The scheme operation relies on the shared responsibility principle amongst all agri-supplies professionals: :

  • Users, mainly farmers, are asked to prepare and store products at the end of their life cycle, and to bring them back to specific sites on dates set by their distributors,

  • Distributors, cooperatives and dealers, are responsible for organizing the collection, storage and regrouping of that waste,

  • Market players (manufacturers, traders) finance the recovery and treatment of waste, as well as A.D.I.VALOR's operational plans, via a specific levy or “eco-contribution”.

The scheme also relies on the support from the Chambers of Agriculture and other professional organizations to relay information to farmers and coordinate the organization of collections throughout the country.

A.D.I.VALOR outlines the technical practicalities of the collections, and organizes and finances all or part of the elimination of agri-supplies products at the end of their life. It also operates in the initial stages of the process, during the preparatory and organizational phases. It offers communication tools to operators and deploys R&D programs with an aim to improve the recovery and valorization of the collected waste.
